In the last week I have thought a lot about what I want to produce for my five pieces at the end of semester. Since our photoshop work shop I have been playing around with images. One in particular I am proud of is the image below. I was trying to reproduce it in photo mosaic style! Now before we go any further I do realise that this image is not a perfect photo mosaic but lets just remember it was my first go at it!
This image was created using two layers. The first is one of me. The opacity has been altered in order to see the layer underneath. The second layer is made up of cut and pasting all my friends eyes which I got from facebook. The idea is I am exploring the idea of how much of an impact my friends have on me and on how they help define me!
Above is the layer of eyes I created and then flattened to create one layer.
It also just happened to be the week we did collage so I was able to incorporate my idea into this workshop. CONVENIENT!!!
This image is not complete more a work in progress however I am very pleased with how it is going! Just to blow my own trumpet!
