So I've decided Photoshop is my new best friend!
The possibilities are endless and if I stuff something up... UNDO or DELETE!
Layering is great... IT'S ALL GREAT!!!! I went to town on this program and here are some images I came up with:

Same photo different effect! This is me posterised.
Below is a before and after image of the girls and me in Sydney, I was just mucking around here and I believe I came up with a fun and interesting image. I played with the black and white tool and then added layers of colour over the top.

Brian Walker is an Australian digital artist I found. He creates these images of surrealism. They seem like they could be real because he uses photography however on closer inspection the viewer realises these are not just photos taken staright, they have clearly been manipulated.

I love the unnaturalness of Brian Walker's work. The extra long eye lashes are creepy and create a sense of uneasiness! A friend of mine once said to me "If you can make your audience feel something from your art, than you have created a successful piece!"
She was right. I want my art to provoke feelings in my audience. It doesn't have to be the same feeling I intended but I want to awaken people!

I LOVE PHOTOSHOP I feel like a whole new world has opened up for me and everytime I use it I discover something new I can do with it. When I create my final pieces I will definately be using photoshop. AH the possibilities!!!
